Whilst at college, Naomi was discouraged to pursue a career as a singer and was told that, because of her wayward behaviour in class, she would never make it in the music industry. This was a devastating blow for Naomi and inevitably knocked her confidence and effected her self-esteem. Indicative of her tenacious character, she would fight back and prove her critics wrong through good old fashioned hard work, perseverance and self-belief.
